Police investigating double shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police are investigating a double shooting in Richmond Thursday evening that has left two men injured.

Investigators said they received a call for shots fired around 7: 45 p.m. in the 2000 block North Ave. When officers arrived to the scene they located a man with a graze wound.

Officers also located a blood trail that led to the discovery of second male victim nearby with a gunshot wound to the foot.

The first victim received treatment on the scene and the second victim was transported to a local hospital.

This is no word on a possible suspect at this time.
