Richmond shooting victims found blocks apart

RICHMOND, Va. -- While Richmond Police investigated a Southside shooting Wednesday night, another man was shot a few blocks away.

Officers were initially called to the 3000 block of Hull Street, at about 11:45 p.m., for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with a gunshot wound in his back, according to police.

About four blocks away, in the 3700 block of Hull Street, another man who may have been grazed with a bullet from the initial shooting was found near the parking lot of Jack Rabbit's Convenience Store.

At this point in their investigation, detectives said it was unclear whether the two men are victims, or a victim and the shooting suspect.

They believe there are multiple witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting and want those witnesses to come forward.
