Man robbed of $20 in front of Henrico vet hospital

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – Police are searching for a man who is accused of assaulting and robbing a man of $20 in Henrico’s Northside Monday evening.

Investigators say the robbery happened around 5:00 p.m. in the 4800 block of Nine Mile Rd. in front of the Fairfield Veterinary Hospital.

The victim said he walking to the store when he was hit from behind and robbed of $20. Sources say the man was knocked to the ground and kicked during the robbery. The male victim was not seriously injured.

The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction. He is described as a white man with red hair and tattoos.
