HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Scoring in all three facets of the game, Douglas Freeman raced out to a huge first half lead, then coasted to a 43-14 win over Thomas Jefferson in week 6.
Rebels quarterback Trey Laughlin threw only 2 passes, but both went for touchdowns including a 98 yard connect with Jakari Williams. Laughlin also ran for a score.
Tanner Dobrucky returned the opening kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown and LJ Crossley had two interception returns for scores for the Rebels (5-0). They visit Glen Allen next week.
Jalen Jackson threw for 124 yards, a TD and 2 INT, plus ran for another 146 yards and a TD in a losing effort for the Vikings who fell to 2-3. They will host John Marshall next week.
