ABC stores slash wine prices during Virginia Wine Month

RICHMOND, Va. — In celebration of Virginia Wine Month, Virginia ABC stores will offering a 15-percent discount on bottles of Virginia wine.

“We are proud to support our state’s widely acclaimed wine industry and include these fine ‘made in Virginia’ products on ABC store shelves,” Virginia ABC Chairman Jeffrey Painter said. “Our partnership with the Virginia Wine Board Marketing Office and the Virginia Tourism Corporation to promote Virginia Wine Month highlights the economic development and growing tourism that we can attribute to our local wineries and vineyards.”

Virginia, which is recognized as one of the country’s top wine travel destinations, boasts more than 275 wineries across the Commonwealth.
