Ramps from I-95 to route 288 to close for resurfacing project in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — As part of an ongoing resurfacing project, Virginia Department of Transportation crews will close the ramps from I-95 to Rt. 288 Monday and Tuesday nights.

From 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 to 5 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 4, the ramp from I-95 north to Rt. 288 north will be closed. From 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, the ramp from I-95 south the Rt. 288 north will be closed. All work is weather dependent.

Drivers are encouraged to use the following detour routes:

To access Rt. 288 north from I-95 north – Take I-95 north to Exit 67B/Chippenham Parkway (Route 150) north to Jefferson Davis Hwy./Rt. 1/Rt. 301 south to Chippenham Pkwy./Rt. 150 south to I-95 south to Exit 62/Rt. 288 north.

To access Rt. 288 north from I-95 south – Take I-95 south to Exit 61A/W. Hundred Rd. (Route 10) west to I-95 north to Exit 62/Rt. 288 north.
