Schwarzschild - Women Who Mean Business Summit

The second season returns with Strauss’ Don Juan and Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story on Friday at 6:30 pm.

24th Annual Richmond Tattoo & Arts Festival

The oldest tattoo expo in the United States, showcasing over 100 local and internationally know Tattoo Artists, including artists from Ink Master, is at The DoubleTree Hotel on Midlothian Turnpike.

Bark in the Park

The annual event takes place Saturday from 10 am – 1 pm at Deep Run Park in Henrico County.

Enjoy a vendor fair, activities for kids and dogs, music, food and more – all for free. You can also participate in a 2k dog walk to help the Henrico Humane Society reach their $30,000 fundraising goal.

Features co-headliners Rare Essence with special guest DJ Kool Saturday and James "Saxsmo" Gates (Three-time Grammy nominee) closing out the festival Sunday.

First ever Virginia Theatrical Bellydance Festival

Sunday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 pm at The Broadberry at 2729 W. Broad Street.

The event features theatrical workshop and professional development for artists followed by a stage show performed by dancers all over the globe.

Bellydancing is known for its ability to tell stories, customs, and beliefs of a culture through dance that are pasted dance generation by generation.

The 101st annual meeting provides a historic occasion for teachers, branch members, scholars and for people of all ages and all communities to explore the 2016 Black History theme “Hallowed Grounds: Sites of African-American Memories.”
