RICHMOND: Crowds returning to Historic Jackson Ward this weekend for the 28th 2nd Street Festival, Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 1-2.
Music lovers will have a field day, this year's festival features co-headliners Rare Essence (Washington’s premier Go-Go band )with special guest DJ Kool on Saturday, and James “Saxsmo” Gates (Three-time Grammy nominee), closing out the festival on Sunday.
Also performing over the two-day event - Tribute Choir featuring Desiree Roots, Future Prospect, Carlton Blount Trio, Rudy Leeper and Fully Loaded, Ban Caribe, Cora Armstrong & Family, D & G Line Dancing and many more.
