SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Police said a man sexually assaulted an unconscious woman multiple times after a night of partying, KPHO reports.
The victim had been drinking with a female friend in Old Town Scottsdale and was unable to walk on her own on Saturday, police said. The friend left the woman passed out in a parking lot in the Entertainment District so she could get her car. When the friend came back, the victim was gone.
Police said Rodolfo A. Ramirez picked up the unconscious woman and carried her away to a parking garage where he sexually assaulted her.
The 28-year-old then allegedly drove the victim to his residence and sexually assaulted her two more times.
Later that morning, Ramirez drove the victim to an intersection in Tempe and dropped her off, police said.
He was later arrested and booked on two counts of kidnapping, three counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual abuse.
According to court documents, during an interview with police the suspect said he didn’t know she was only 17. At this time, police have not confirmed her age with us.
Ramirez works at Hotel Valley Ho.
