RICHMOND, Va. – If you’re looking to enjoy some family fun, Petersburg is the place to be this weekend. The annual Festival of Grapes and Hops, Paddle or Battle and the Prince George Pork Butt Festival all kick off this Saturday,and the Director for Petersburg Area Regional Tourism Martha Burton joined us in the studio to share the details on the exciting events. The 7th Annual Festival of Grapes and Hops takes place in Old Towne Petersburg in the Historic Farmers Market area from 11 am to 5 pm. The Paddle or Battle event takes place at the Hopewell Marina from 8:30 am to 11 am. Lastly, the Prince George Pork Butt Festival is from 11 am to 5 pm at Temple Park in Disputanta.
