“Heroin in Our Family” open forum

RICHMOND, Va. – Heroin is a growing epidemic and overdoses and deaths in Central Virginia are occurring at epidemic rates. Chesterfield Sheriff Karl Leonard and recent graduate of the Heroin Addiction Recovery Program (HARP) Bakuma Boyd, joined us to talk about the upcoming “Heroin in Our Family” Open Forum presented by The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office. The event is Thursday, September 29th from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center in Chesterfield. It’s free to attend, registration is requested, but not required.
