Three Henrico men arrested for Jahnke Road shooting

RICHMOND, Va. – Three men from Henrico have been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon, on Jahnke Road.

At approximately 4:16 p.m. on Sept. 20, officers were called to the 6300 block of Jahnke Road for a report of a shooting.

Officers arrived and found a male who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Witnesses provided information about three suspects and the suspect vehicle that had fled the scene.

Officers broadcast the description of the vehicle and an officer from the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority observed the vehicle travelling northbound across the Powhite Bridge.

The RMTA officer and Department officers located the vehicle and stopped it on I-195 just north of Broad Street.

Officers arrested the three males in the vehicle without incident and seized several firearms.

Police arrested Fletcher Robinson Jr., 26, of the 2600 block of Hilliard Road; Waverly M. Robinson, 20, of the 2600 block of Hilliard Road; and Satwon L. McKnight, 19, of the 5200 block of Lewis Road.

All three were charged with attempted robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Other charges are possible, police said.
