Afro-Groove Band HOTEL X along with the Virginia Friends of Mali are hosting a benefit concert at the Neighborhood Resource Center in Fulton Hill, 1519 Williamsburg Rd, Richmond  Friday, September 23, 8-11pm . The Mande Strings Trio will perform featuring Kokanko Sata Doumbia, the only Malian woman ever known to play her instrument, the kamele n'goni.
