RICHMOND, Va. -- Bestselling author Ron Suskind found a way to reach his six-year-old son with autism through the magic of animated Disney movies.

His book “Life, Animated” became a bestseller and now the documentary on the book will air at the Byrd Theater on Thursday, September 22 at 7 p.m.

Admission is free and the author will on hand to take questions.

The event is sponsored by The Faison School for Autism.  CEO and President Brian McCann came to the CBS 6 studio to discuss the event.
