HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – Three men have been arrested and charged after allegedly shooting into an occupied vehicle in Henrico County in late-August.
Police said officers responded to a call for shots fired in the 5900 block of Queens Thorpe Court.
The victim reported that Rashon Curtis Torrence, 20, who was known to the victim, fired a gun at the victim’s car while it was occupied.
After an investigation, Torrence was charged with two counts each of attempted malicious wounding, brandishing a firearm, and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless handling of a firearm, and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle and vandalism.
Police said two additional men were also involved in the August 29 incident where there were no reported injuries.
Ryan Lee Dillon, 21, (not pictured) and Jamal Garnell Jones, 18, were also charged with multiple felonies.
Dillon was charged with two counts each of attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, shooting into an occupied vehicle, and possession of a schedule IV drug.
Jones was charged with two counts each of attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Torrence and Dillion were arrested previously for separate crimes.
