Thief steals volunteer’s Lexus outside Ronald McDonald House on Monument

RICHMOND, Va. – A volunteer’s car was stolen Monday morning, while she was dropping off a donation at the Ronald McDonald house in the 2300 block of Monument Avenue.

The dark silver Lexus was parked two doors up from Ronald McDonald house, near the intersection of Monument Avenue and Davis Street.

The volunteer accidentally left her keys sitting out in the front seat while she ran inside.  The crime took place between 10:30 and 11:15 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12.

Police are investigating.

The 2010 dark silver, SUV Lexus was a GX 460 model with the license plate  XFJ4145.
