Ellen also welcomes Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting survivor, Tony Marrero, to share his story, which has touched Americans nationwide.

Tony was shot multiple times in the back during the shooting and doctors have called his survival a “miracle” because none of the bullets touched any major organs or his spinal cord. Watch as Tony describes the events of that night, explains how he’s staying positive and attributes some of his recovery to Katy Perry’s song, “Rise.”

Ellen gifts Tony with a private screening of “Finding Dory” and donates $25,000 to the official GoFundMe page for Pulse Victims via Shutterfly.

Plus, watch as Ellen brings tears to Tony’s eyes by introducing him to Katy Perry. And don’t miss as the pop superstar gifts Tony with a chance to chase his dreams by paying for his first year of film school!
