Suspect in Greensville County manhunt may be in red pickup truck

GREENVILLE COUNTY, Va. – A multi-jurisdictional manhunt continues Friday on 58E in the Unkle Odies area of Emporia for a man with multiple felony warrants out for his arrest.

The Greensville County Sheriff's Office, Virginia State Police and Emporia Police are searching for Logan Dean Adams who is wanted for numerous breaking and entering crimes in Greensville.

Officials said Adams may be driving a Red 1993 Ford Ranger taken from James River Jct. in Greensville County Thursday around 7:00 pm.

The truck has dent on the passenger side around the door and front fender with a silver tool box.  It has Virginia registration of YPK-6047. Investigators believe Adams may have traveled East on highway 58.

He is described as a white man in his late 20’s, around 170 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The Sheriff’s Office urge anyone driving down 58E to keep an eye out because Adams has also been hitchhiking in the area. They said if you see Adams, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
