DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. -- Investigators say a local serial burglar with a taste for guns is finally behind bars, after a short chase and crash into the woods of Dinwiddie County.
Police say 27-year-old Kevin Gregory was arrested Wednesday after a tip from a concerned citizen.
Now that he's in custody, police have discovered he may be linked to more than a dozen break-ins since July in Dinwiddie County alone.
During the break in’s, everything from TV’s to guns were stolen.
"They called him the TV bandit," said Violet Moore, Dinwiddie resident and burglar victim.

Wednesday, Moore was fixing the door jamb at her Dinwiddie home for the second time in 10 months. That’s because she came home to find her Squirrel Level Road house broken into and her TV's stolen.
Gregory is believed to be the suspect in Moore’s burglary and about 11 others in Dinwiddie.
"This is a direct reflection of teamwork and leadership,” said Dinwiddie Investigator Kenneth Droddy. “It's the fact that we care. It's not only our job, but these people are our neighbors."
Police said the big break in the case came when a citizen noticed a car parked at a house on Halifax Road that didn't belong, so that citizen waited for it to leave and snapped a photo of the license plate.
"Between the citizen’s diligence and other agencies, it came together pretty good," said Droddy.
After the license plate tip, Dinwiddie investigators started to watch Gregory's movements.
Deputies said after confirming a break-in on Squirrel Level, they tried stopping Gregory's car, but he took off and ended up crashing in the woods.
"It was a short pursuit. It was dangerous because it went through several yards, and almost hit a bus,” Droddy said. “But eventually he crashed."
Deputies wouldn't elaborate, but said valuable evidence was recovered, that links Gregory to the break-in at Moore's country home.
"I work hard for my money and struggle to get by. Get a job and get your own," said Moore.
