HOPEWELL, Va. -- U.S. Marshals were in Hopewell looking for a fugitive Friday, but they found a bit more when they went to a home on Pickett Avenue.

Marshals tell CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett the arrest they made at the home concluded a busy, yet productive week in the Hopewell and Chester areas.

With their suspect in zip ties on the curb, the Marshals had just come to the house on Pickett Avenue looking for fugitive Jetori Fells-Tucker. Sources tell CBS 6 they actually made several arrests, including Fells-Tucker.

Drug busts

Investigators recovered weapons and drugs from inside the rental home, which is located about 100 yards from the back of Dupont Elementary School.

Sources say a side window is how they believe the drug transactions were going down.

"I've seen a lot of traffic over there and that side window is blocked and in a dark area," said James Hoover, who lives next door.

Thursday, Daniel Grove a fugitive wanted in Hopewell, was literally up a tree. He wasn't chased there.  He was working 70 feet up when Marshals told him he needed to come down.

The 39-year-old was wanted for robbing the Broadway Street 7-Eleven on August 29, but since he was climbing a tree, he was unable to hide.

Though their investigation, police identified Grove as the suspect in the robbery and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

"I was out at my mailbox and the Marshal identified himself,” said the homeowner, Gary Peterson.  “He said, “The guy in your tree over there is wanted."

Fells-Tucker and Grove are both being held at Riverside Regional Jail.
