Man wearing GAP shirt wanted for armed-robbery of Henrico 7-Eleven

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – Police are searching for an armed man who robbed a 7-Eleven store located in the 5200 block of Williamsburg Road Thursday, Sept. 1.

Police said the robbery happened at approximately 4:35 a.m. The victim reported a masked man wearing a dark colored motorcycle helmet entered the business.

That’s when the suspect pulled a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

Police say at that point, the clerk ran towards the rear of the store and the suspect then fled the store without any money.

The man was last seen fleeing the parking lot on a dark colored motorcycle.

The suspect is described as a man between 18-25 years old, approximately 5’2” to 5’4” and 160 pounds.

He was seen wearing a black motorcycle helmet, dark mask, dark long sleeve shirt with GAP in white letters on front, jeans, dark shoes, and tan colored gloves.

Henrico County Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subject responsible for this crime.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by their tip.  Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
