4 arrested in Chesterfield mobile meth lab bust

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Two additional people are facing charges after a  mobile meth lab was discovered in Chesterfield County Wednesday afternoon.

Chesterfield police said the meth lab case involved two different scenes.

The first was uncovered during a traffic stop near the Forest Lake community where two men were arrested.

A second scene was uncovered at the Budget Inn not far from the first scene, but officials said they did not find any signs of meth or hazardous materials at the motel.

Chesterfield police investigators returned to the motel Thursday and arrested two more people connected to this case.

Michael Keith Mays and Kenneth Tinsley are facing several charges including, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, manufacture of meth and other charges outlined in search warrants obtained by WTVR CBS 6.

Mays and Tinsley are slated to appear in court Friday at 11 a.m.

Police have not released the names of the two people arrested at the motel.
