LOUSIA COUNTY, Va. — State Police are asking for the public’s help with identify a suspect who fled from a trooper on a motorcycle on Monday, August 8.
Police said the incident happened around 5:23 p.m. in Louisa County.
State Police said a Trooper spotted a Honda CBR1000rr with a Repsol paint scheme on radar traveling 102 mph while heading east on Interstate 64 at the 147 mile marker. The posted speed limit is 70 mph.
When the trooper initiated a traffic stop a traffic stop, the motorcyclist refused to stop and sped away increasing his speed to 120 mph.

A pursuit was began, but the trooper terminated it 12 miles later. The motorcycle continued east on I-64.
After further investigation, police obtained photos of the suspect before the pursuit.
