RICHMOND, Va. -- Storms moving through Richmond delayed Saturday's eight annual Anthem Moonlight Ride.

Officials said packet pick up and registration opened at 8 p.m. As a result, the ride was moved to at 9 p.m.

"We will only have participants complete the short course (the long course will no longer be an option). We appreciate everyone's patience as we've been monitoring the weather," read a post on the group's Facebook page.

The rain may have pushed back the start time, but riders still turned out to cruise through Richmond on two wheels.

The ride through Monument Avenue and Bryan Park was only the option of a half-moon eight-mile course because of the wet road.

And there were lost of funky costumes as usual. CBS 6 Chief Meteorologist Zach Daniel was one of the judges to rank who's was the most wackiest.
