Woman wanted for robbing Chesterfield bank

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police released photos of a woman wanted for robbing the Bank of McKenney on Johnson Creek Drive.

“[She] approached a teller, and handed her a note demanding money,” a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said. “Upon receiving cash, the suspect exited the building and was last seen walking across the parking lot. No weapon was displayed during the incident.”

Police described the woman as a black female, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build. She was wearing a black and red checkered shirt, dark colored pants, sunglasses and a black covering over her hair.

The robbery was reported at about 3:54 p.m on Thursday, August 4.
