RICHMOND, Va. -- The Washington Wizards are working on a deal that would bring their training camp back to VCU, as first reported by CSNMid-Atlantic.com.

CBS 6 sports anchor Sean Robertson reports at least a portion of the camp will be held at VCU this fall.

There is no word on specifics of the deal at this time.

This comes after plans to hold the camp at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., fell through.

Last year, the team held their training camp at Towson University and the Verizon Center, where they play their home games.

The Wizards previously held training camp at VCU’s Siegel Center from 2004 to 2009.
