RICHMOND, Va. — Police apprehended and charged a suspect in connection to a shooting that happened in the Gilpin Court neighborhood Friday night.
Officers received a call for a shooting in the 1200 block of Saint Peter Street around 11:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found that a man had been grazed in the cheek by a bullet.
A suspect description was provided and police were able to apprehend the suspect shortly thereafter.
The suspect has been charged with attempted murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony. No identity has been provided for the suspect.
