Food truck and craft beer festival at The Diamond, July 23

RICHMOND, Va. – Over 30 different food trucks will congregate from 3 – 9 p.m. at The Diamond, on Saturday, July 23. The hours have shifted to later in the day to accommodate the sweltering heat forecasted.

“The Diamond Food Truck Bash” is hosted by the Virginia Museum of Radio & Concert Entertainment (VMRCE) and will feature live music. Roosterfoot, Big Mama Shakes, Heartracer and more will take to the stage during the event.

There will be a wide variety of food, deserts, wine and craft beers.

Boka Tako Truck, Mean Bird, Carytown Burgers & Fries, Dank Eats, The Grapevine, Hungry Turtle Food Truck, Espresso A Go Go, Strawberry Street Café, Slideways Mobile Bistro,  De Rochonnet Delights Chocolatier, The UFO Truck, Firehouse Bar-B-Que, MacDaddy, Kona Ice Richmond, Mister Softee have confirmed and more will be announced.

The beer list  so far is Apocalypse, Ardent, Bold Rock, Brothers, Center of the Universe, Devils Backbone, Hardywood, Legend, Midnight Brewery, O’Connor, Starr Hill, Strangeways, Old Bus Head, and Sunken City.

“Due to the overwhelming success of other food truck events we have produced, we are so excited to bring serious Food Truck fun to Richmond’s Diamond,” said Laurin Willis, Food Truck Bash promoter.  “We continue to work with the Richmond Food Truck Association to expand these events throughout the Central Virginia region.

Admission for the Diamond Food Truck Bash is free; food and beverage are pay-as-you-go.

Lawn chairs are encouraged for comfort, and festival goers are encouraged to bring two bottle s of sealed water to stay hydrated.

There are no coolers, baskets, knapsacks, or pets permitted.
