Neighbor heard booms before Chester meth lab arrests

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. –  Two people were arrested after police discovered a meth lab inside a Chesterfield home.

On Wednesday, HAZMAT and fire crews, along with narcotics agents and police responded to the 3700 block of Dalhart Court, in the Mineola neighborhood.

After police executed a search warrant for narcotics, they said they found evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing, along with heroin use.

Robert P. Orndoff, 31, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

Kayla S. Brumfield,

Kayla S. Brumfield, 24.

Kayla Brumfield, 24, who also lived at the home, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Virginia State Police and Chesterfield Fire and EMS assisted at the scene

Neighbors tell CBS 6 they have heard violent loud noises in the neighborhood that shook their homes for the past few nights.
