FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. – Fairfax County fire crews have extinguished a 3-alarm fire at Tysons Corner Center Friday evening.
The fire was initially called a 2-alarm fire, but was upgraded to a 3-alarm, according to Fairfax Fire and Rescue.
The flames caused an evacuation of the AMC Wing of the shopping center.
Tysons Corner confirmed the fire via Twitter, saying that the restaurant, Seasons 52, as well as other restaurants and nearby retailers will be closed until further notice.
Officials said the fire started in a restaurant on the ground floor and spread to the roof.
The fire is now marked under control.
There are no reported injuries at this time.
