Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden offers free admission after Dallas tragedy, violence

RICHMOND, Va. — In the wake of the disturbing violence in our nation, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden is offering free admission.

“In light of the events that have affected our world in recent, months, weeks and days: If it would be of help to you to enter the Garden for free, please do so,” reads a sign at the garden.

Folks posted their thanks on the garden’s Facebook page.

“Thanks for free admission today! My family and I needed it!!” Angie Pangie posted.

The garden is offering free admission through Sunday.

Lewis Ginter was voted one of the nation’s best botanical gardens by USA Today.
