RICHMOND, Va. -- Many workers look forward to taking a lunch break. But at Padow's Ham & Deli in downtown Richmond, lunch is the busiest time of the day.
Padow's serve a variety of sandwiches, homemade soups, and salads. Since lunchtime is the busy time, I arrived early, before the work crowd.
First up? Taking orders. Should be easy, right? It is a computer and I use nine computers every day at work.
Oh wait! Their computer is a lot different than mine. Their menu is HUGE! It is nice how you can customize your order, but that made things a little tricky as cashier.
Don't worry, I got the hang of it!
Next, I tried to make an order. I was surprised the customer did not want extra mayo. I thought everyone liked extra mayo!
