DUBLIN, Va. — A woman driving through Virginia was jailed after she was cited for reckless driving three times in an hour, WSLS reported.

The driver, Kai Kitchen, 21, of Los Angeles, California, was arrested by Virginia State Police arrested for misdemeanor reckless driving after a series of traffic stops on July 3.

Kitchen was driving more than 20 mph above the speed limit during all three incidents and was released on summons each time.

By the third time she was pulled over, WSLS reported, state troopers were informed by law enforcement that she had just received two prior reckless driving tickets within the last hour.

Kitchen was then taken to the New River Regional Jail, where she was issued an arrest warrant.
