CHESHIRE, England — Seattle Seahawks quarterback and Richmond native Russell Wilson married singer Ciara in Cheshire, England on Wednesday, E! News reported.
After the wedding Wednesday, Wilson posted a wedding picture on Instagram with the caption, “We are the Wilsons!”
Q13 reports Ciara’s friend Jennifer Hudson posted a photo of her outfit to Instagram ahead of the nuptials.
Wilson and Ciara’s relationship became public when the couple appeared together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April 2015.

The couple announced their engagement in March.
In a picture posted to the singer’s Twitter account, Wilson took a knee while the couple was vacationing in a tropical locale. People magazine reported Ciara and Wilson were in the Seychelles Islands.
“I feel complete,” she wrote.
