CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A gunman robbed the 7-11 on Belmont Road in Chesterfield early Thursday morning.
“[He] entered the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money from the register. Upon receiving cash, the suspect fled on foot,” a Chesterfield Police Lt. George Burgess said. “No one was injured during the incident.”
Police described the robber as a 20 – 25-year-old black man with a thin build.
He stood about 5 feet 6 inches tall, police said.
“He was wearing a black hooded jacket, dark pants, camouflage bandana over his face and had a red, black and gray book bag,” investigators added.
The robbery was reported at about 12:50 a.m.
