RICHMOND: Fans of the Richmond Vegetarian Festival are excited for a new date for the popular festival, the new date is Saturday, July 9, from noon to 6pm in the Azalea Gardens at Bryan Park. City officials had to postponed the festival scheduled to happen Saturday, June 25 in Bryan Park but the park is littered with downed trees and debris left over from the June 16th storm.
The clean up will insure for a safer and enjoyable day. Known for its variety of foods, the festival will feature cooking demonstrations, belly dancing, vegan body builder, live music and vendors and over thirty-five different types of food that include – African, Italian, Indian, Thai, Mediterranean, American, .
