RICHMOND, Va. -- Tuesday will be hot and humid, with scattered strong to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
The main threat with any severe storms will be damaging winds and large hail.
This setup for severe weather will not be the same as the event we had last Thursday.
Wednesday will be a hot and humid day with very little chance of rain, but the chance for storms returns to the area on Thursday.
The available heat and moisture in place with bring another threat for severe weather to the area.
Drier air will move into the area on Friday, bringing an end to the threat of storms for a few days.
Next weekend will be dry with daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s and overnight lows in the upper 50s and low 60s.
