Missing Chesterfield woman needs medication

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Police have issued an alert for a missing woman.

Melita I. Selkridge, 35, was last seen Friday night as she walked to the Bojangles’ restaurant on Bensley Commons Boulevard, a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said.

“Relatives contacted police on Tuesday, June 14, after Selkridge had not returned home,” police said. “Relatives say she is likely in need of medication.”

Police described Selkridge as a black female, about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. She has an ink spot tattoo on her left wrist.
