RICHMOND, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was found shot in Richmond’s East End Tuesday night.
Police said the shooting happened in the 1700 block of Rogers Street, near Fairfield Avenue and Mechanicsville Turnpike.

The shooting victim, an adult male, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim was hit in the groin area and the leg, police on scene said.
Police have not yet released information about a suspect or motive.
