RICHMOND, Va. -- Metropolis has Superman. Gotham has Batman. And Richmond has Charles Jajesnica. A middle school teacher by day, but a superhero the moment he climbs on a bike.

Jajesnica goes by the superhero name "No Drop Chuck" while riding with the Richmond Area Bicycling Association.

Chuck earned the nickname because when he is out riding, he never leaves anyone behind.

Have a cramp? Chuck will stop.

Can't keep up? Chuck will slow down.

Break your bike? Chuck will help you fix it.

And so it was Saturday afternoon, 72 miles into the 75-mile ride Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads 2016 from Richmond to Williamsburg, that WTVR CBS 6 News producer DeeVa Payne suffered a flat tire.

She certainly did not ride so long that day to fall just short of her goal.

Luckily, No Drop Chuck was riding behind her.

He stopped, got off his bike and changed the flat tire right on the side of the road.

After a 20-minute procedure, DeeVa was back on the road and finished her ride.

From all the cyclists out there you have helped and from those you will help in the future -- Thank you Chuck!
