RICHMOND, Va. -- A cold front moved through Virginia Tuesday evening with a few thunderstorms, and cooler and less humid air has moved in behind it. Lows Wednesday morning were the lowest in Richmond since May 25. Highs Wednesday afternoon will fail to reach 80° in many locations, making it the coolest daytime high since May 30.
Dew points, which were in the 60s and 70s for quite awhile dropped into the 40s Wednesday morning.
Dew point and humidity levels will stay fairly comfortable through Friday, but a warm front will pass on Saturday and bring hotter and more humid air back to the state.
A cold front will pass later Sunday and bring some cooler and less humid air back Sunday night into Monday.
