2 suspects wanted in hoverboard theft at Shockoe Slip business

RICHMOND, Va. – Police are looking for two suspects who are accused of breaking into a Shockoe Slip business and stealing two hoverboards over the weekend.

The break-in happened at approximately 4:44 a.m. on May 29, when a suspect broke the front window of Segway of Richmond, located at 1301 E. Cary Street.

Officers responded to the store for the report of a break-in minutes later. The store’s front window was broken and two hoverboards were taken.

Surveillance video shows two male suspects walking west on East Cary Street away from the store with the hoverboards.

One suspect is described as a black male who wore a teal T-shirt and white pants at the time of the incident. The second suspect is described as a black male dressed in all black with a red baseball hat.
