CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. – The Doswell man wanted in connection with a triple shooting in Caroline County has been arrested without incident in eastern Henrico Wednesday.
Kwumane Goodall, 22, was arrested without incident and returned to Caroline County after a Crime Stoppers tip helped locate his whereabouts.
The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office obtained warrants on Goodall, 22 that included possession of a firearm by a felon, three counts of use of a firearm in commission of felony, three counts of malicious wounding, and three counts of reckless handling of firearm.
Sheriff’s deputies said the triple shooting occurred May 28, at approximately 11:37 p.m. at a graduation party in the 32000 block of Richmond Turnpike.
Investigators said the incident began after part-goers tried to break up a fight between two women and gun shots rang out.
Three people were shot and injured during the incident.
A 17-year-old boy was struck in the foot and a 42-year-old woman was struck in the knee area. They were transported to VCU Medical Center for surgery. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.
A third victim was struck in the thigh area. She was transported to VCU Medical Center for immediate surgery. Her injuries were considered life-threatening, but she is now recovery and listed as critical, but expected to recover.
