RICHMOND, Va. - Ken Falke, retired Master Chief Petty Officer and Combat Veteran of the US Navy, and founder of the Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness joined Virginia This Morning to talk about Military Appreciation Month, as well as the incredible work being done at Boulder Crest Retreat. Ken and his wife began their journey of helping military the community, by starting a small charity dedicated to taking care of wounded bomb care personnel. From there they established Boulder Crest Retreat, in the serene setting of Bluemont, Virginia, where they take an innovative, non-clinical approach to helping veterans and their families with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
