RICHMOND, Va. – If you enjoy laughing, especially on Mondays, then the Carpenter Theater has a show for you.
Eddie Izzard — the man who turned talking ‘Bollocks’ into an art form –brings his Force Majeure tour to Richmond on Monday, July 18 at 8 p.m.
He’s performed ‘force majeure’ in 69 American cities to over 185,000 fans and tickets are likely to sell out quickly for the 1,800-seat venue.
The pre-sale began Wednesday at 10 a.m. and runs through May 20 at 9:59 a.m. Tickets are priced from $48 – $58. There is a limit of four per purchase.
Izzard has sold out Madison Square Garden and became the first stand-up comedian to play a solo show at the Hollywood Bowl – twice.
The Broadway in Richmond write up has these words:
Izzard takes ideas and situations and extrapolates them into bizarre tangential, absurd, and surreal comic narratives – topics that skip from Darth Vader and Greek mythology to human sacrifice and chaos theory. Eddie Izzard Force Majeure is a comic force to be reckoned with.
Indeed.
