CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — The driver of a Dodge Ram truck that collided head-on with a car Saturday night on Branders Bridge Road in Chesterfield has been arrested.
Christopher B. Brasher, 32, of Daleville, was charged with DUI involuntary manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.
“[The] Dodge Ram truck was traveling south on Branders Bridge Road when it crossed the double yellow line into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Cruze,” a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said about the 8 p.m. crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 45-year-old Dorothy D. Beach, of Glenmorgan Drive in Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The investigation into the fatal crash remains on-going.
