Kroger looking to fill 200 positions during Richmond hiring event

RICHMOND, Va. — Kroger is looking to hire 200 new employees during a hiring event in Richmond this weekend. The company is seeking to fill 600 hourly positions in its stores in the Mid-Atlantic region, with approximately 200 located in the Richmond area.

The hiring event will be held Saturday, May 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kroger Training Center, located at 2235 Staples Mill Road.

Kroger asks those interest to apply online at jobs.kroger.com. After completing the application and assessment, applicants should attend the hiring event, but no appointment is necessary. Interested applicants can stop in during the hiring event to speak with a Kroger hiring manager.

Opening at the Richmond-area Kroger stores include positions in the deli, grocery, bakery, meat department and drug/GM. Cashiers and baggers are also needed.

All Richmond-area Kroger stores are currently hiring. Those interested can apply online or come to the Kroger Training Center on May 14.
