CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Lesley N. Andorful, 40, of River Fork Way in Chesterfield, was killed and two people were hurt when their SUVs collided head-on along the 2300 block of West Hundred Road (Route 10), near Interstate 95, in Chester Thursday night.
"A Toyota 4Runner was traveling west on West Hundred Road when it crossed over the median and into the eastbound lanes. The Toyota collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz ML350 driven by Andorful," a Chesterfield Police spokesman said. "
"A vehicle was traveling west on West Hundred Road when it crossed over the median into the eastbound lanes and collided head on with another vehicle," a Chesterfield Police spokesperson said. "The driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. "[She] was transported to VCU Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. The two occupants of the Toyota were transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries."
The crash was reported at about 11:11 p.m. Thursday.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Police reopened all lanes of Route 10 and the ramps to Interstate 95 at about 6 a.m. Friday.
