RICHMOND, Va. — A man has taken to a local hospital after he was found shot in Richmond’s southside Thursday afternoon. Police responded to the 1500 block of Columbia Street for a man who suffered a gunshot wound.
A witness tells CBS 6 the man wasn’t shot at the location, but that’s where police where police was called to help the victim. Police have not released the location of the shooting.
CBS 6 reporter Mark Holmberg reports the man was shot in the city and dropped off at his mother’s house near Columbia Street.
The witness said the man’s gunshot wound seemed non-life-threatening, but police have not officially released the victim’s condition at this time.
Police also have not released any information about a possible suspect at this time.
