RICHMOND, Va. — They paved paradise and put up a parking lot, or something like that.

Richmond CenterStage Foundation, the group that owns the land at 6th and Broad Streets that has housed RVA on Ice each since 2010, plans to turn that space into a paved parking lot, CBS 6 confirmed. Ned Oliver, with the Richmond Times Dispatch, first reported the news.

The folks behind RVA on Ice have not yet announced whether they planned to find a new location or hang up the skates.
